Brad Pitt Shares His Thoughts in New ‘Ad Astra’ Trailer

20th Century Fox released a new trailer/featurette today for its upcoming film Ad Astra starring Brad Pitt.

In the new clip Pitt, who plays the film’s main character astronaut Roy McBride, commentates and shares his thoughts on what fans can expect from this epic sci-fi thriller. The journey will see McBride travelling to the outer edges of the solar system as he tries to find his missing father, played by Tommy Lee Jones. He soon starts to unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of those on Earth.

Directed by James Gray and co-written by Gray and Ethan Gross, Ad Astra also stars Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler and Donald Sutherland. It will premiere at the Venice Film Festival on August 29 before opening in U.S. theaters on September 20.
