New ‘Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’ Trailer Shows Cal Battling an AT-AT
Shared during Microsoft’s E3 conference.
Following a reveal teaser shared in mid-April, EA and Respawn Entertainment have now dropped a new full-length trailer for its highly-anticipated game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Unveiled during Microsoft’s Xbox E3 conference held over the weekend at the Los Angeles Convention Center, the new trailer interjects a mix of cinematic cutscenes and gameplay. The clip also features young Jedi Cal taking on some AT-AT walkers who are stalking through a swamp. In the visuals Cal can be see climbing up the leg of the AT-AT to infiltrate the cockpit. Once there he knocks out the pilot and takes control of the metal behemoth. Along with the new two-minute clip, 15 minutes of gameplay was also showcased, giving fans an in-depth look at what they can expect when the game finally releases this fall.
In a blog post Xbox shared:
“This single-player adventure takes place on a variety of planets, some months after the first enforcement of Order 66, which, as seen in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, wiped out all the Jedi in the galaxy. Even as a young Jedi, Cal has enough command over the Force to push and pull stormtroopers, slow time to the degree that he can dodge laser blasts, and perform double jumps that send him flying over the heads of even the giant spiders that lurk on Kashyyyk.”
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order arrives November 15 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can pre-order the game now on Amazon.
