Reebok Revitalizes Allen Iverson's Iconic Answer V Signature Sneaker
The basketball shoe’s first retro since it launched in almost two decades.
For the first time since its debut in 2001, Reebok is reintroducing Allen Iverson‘s fifth signature shoe. The Answer V hasn’t seen the light of day since it first hit store shelves nearly two decades ago, but the hefty silhouette has been revived in nearly identical shape to its original iteration.
The key details from the Answer V’s original that release remain intact include a plush tumbled white leather upper, with a swirling red leather shroud enveloping the laces all the way up to the tongue. The shroud extends to a “DMX” tag and plastic shape that continues to the white, DMX-cushioned midsole. Complementing red accents across the ankle and heel keep the shoe’s look unified, bolstering Iverson’s familiar “I3” branding seen on the rear of the shoe.
The reissued Reebok Classic Answer V hits stockists like BSTN on July 1 for €149.99 EUR (approximately $170 USD).
Recently, the Reebok Classic Leather returned in three throwback makeups.
