Prada Goes to Tokyo's Isetan for an Exclusive Pop Up
Featuring purple lightning bolts, white Pocone nylon and red sneakers.
While Prada has recently announced its plan for going fur-free by 2020, the Italian fashion house has shown no signs of slowing down with other initiatives, like its upcoming pop up in Tokyo at Isetan’s Shinjuku men’s building.
The pop-up will feature a lineup of exclusive items like printed backpacks, wallets and apparel clad in various pop graphics, studs and crisp white Pocone nylon. Spotlighting the assemblage is a pair of tonal bright red sneakers constructed in a mixture of rubber panels and mesh fabrication. Apart from its multi-layered upper, one distinctive detail of the silhouette is its thick midsole shaped with wide treading complemented with a glossy finish. Lighting bolts with purple shades are emblazoned over a tote bag, fanny pack and a slew of accessories over base fabrics of treated leather and luxe nylon. Rounding out the concise assemblage is a white backpack, bum bag and messenger offering clean pieces for those who prefer things that are more minimal.
The items will be available exclusively at the pop up starting June 12 at Isetan’s Shinjuku Men’s Building — see below for a list of estimated prices.
