Off-White™‘s latest Virgil Abloh-designed sneaker has dropped in two standout colorways, a bold “Yellow/Black” iteration and a timeless “Black/White” offering. The Running Sneaker is reminiscent of track silhouettes from the 1970s thanks to its streamlined, pointed shape and studded rubber sole unit.
The Running Sneaker’s upper is made up of nylon, suede, leather and cotton and features a large lateral side “X” symbol. Staying true to the Off-White™ design language, the shoe features a cross-stitched heel tab, a zip-tie tag on the laces, quote-adorned shoelaces, a quote on the tongue and “X” branded insoles.
The sneaker features a retro aesthetic throughout, seeing an elongated wedged sole unit, waffle-like outsole and zig-zag-cut eye stay add touches of track running nostalgia. The “Black/White” pair features a lime green tab on the base of the tongue and orange rubber-dipped aglets, whereas the “Yellow/Black” pair keeps it tonal with a black tab and aglets, sporting just a hint of blue on its cross-stitched heel tab. Both pairs can be picked up from retailers such as Browns for $690 USD.
