Daniel W. Fletcher Presents Preppy American "Hopelessly Devoted" Collection in Paris
Take a look at the British designer’s reinterpreted formalwear.

Daniel W. Fletcher has presented his Spring/Summer 2020 collection titled “Hopelessly Devoted” at Paris Fashion Week Men’s. The Central Saint Martins graduate reflects upon his previous collections by reworking now-staple pieces influenced by preppy American sportsmen, delivering his go-to monochrome and navy blue palette with touches of lilac, powder blue and dusty pink.
The British designer’s SS20 collection is more formal than previous seasons such as Fall/Winter 2019, referencing the image of an American jock in both casual and tailored pieces. Garments including dusty pink shorts and team knits adorned with appliquéd initials and tears are offered for an off-duty, fresh off the pitch look.
However, Daniel W. Fletcher also delivers a line-up of contemporary formal pieces such as split-seam trousers and raw-seam blazers. The SS20 collection also sees a selection of standout coats, finished in black, powder blue and navy check.
One last reference for “Hopelessly Devoted” comes from the jock’s sister, where you can find rippled moiré laced down the back of trench coats and top-stitched jackets. Take a look at Daniel W. Fletcher’s “Hopelessly Devoted” SS20 collection in the gallery above.
