Teva Taps Snow Peak for Stylish HURRICANE XLT 2 Alp Sandals
An adaption of the classic ’90s silhouette.
As a follow up to Teva‘s commemorative GC100 Spring/Summer 2019 collection for the Grand Canyon National Park, the outdoor footwear label has returned with a pair of hi-tech sandals in collaboration with Snow Peak.
The Teva x Snow Peak HURRICANE XLT 2 Alp is the latest adaptation of the earlier “HURRICANE” model. Graced with a predominantly black upper, its body is accented with white straps, embroidered text, and a branded tab. Its ankle collar is equipped with an adjustable buckle at the front with Snow Peak’s patch logo stitched over the white heel support. Thinner straps appear along the body and forefoot where the slogan “OUTDOOR LIFESTYLE CREATOR” can be found woven at the midsection. Below them lies a suede microfiber footbed that sits atop a highly durable outsole. Other functional details like quick-dry webbing on the straps and shock absorbing EVA soles roundup the details of the outdoor sandals.
The Teva x Snow Peak HURRICANE XLT 2 Alp is currently available on Teva’s website for ¥15,800 JYP (approximately $144 USD).
