Rema Tries to Impress a Girl in "Dumebi" Video
The single is off the Nigerian upstart’s self-titled EP that released in March.
18-year-old Nigerian rapper Rema is one of Nigeria’s rising stars, releasing his self-titled EP in March, which was led by the local hit singles “Iron Man” and “Dumebi.” Today (May 21), Rema shares the video for the latter single, which finds him within a group of friends that includes a girl he’s in love with. But the love story doesn’t end how Rema wants it to. Watch the video below.
Rema is signed to the prominent Mavin Records that is helmed by the visionary Don Jazzy and also home to Tiwa Savage and Korede Bello. The bubbling upstart is from Benin City and after found his love for music at 11 years old.
