On-Feet with Three Nike Vomero 5 SE SP Colorways
Highlighting the retro silhouette.
Following a handful of iterations of the Nike Vomero 5 like the red A-COLD-WALL* collaboration, we now get an on-feet look at the silhouette in three colorways: “Racer Blue,” “Electric Green” and “Dark Grey.”
The Nike Vomero 5 bears a slightly boxy shape. Its multilayered upper is comprised of TecTuff leather overlays, light mesh around the collar and forefoot, detailed sidewalls and a plastic heel counter. Sleek lines of leather frame the body, accompanied by dashes of reflective stripes. Each colorway includes a Swoosh bordered in a white outline that sets it apart from the black cage placed underneath. The midsole comes in black in the form of Nike’s Zoom Air sole unit. Below it lies a sturdy cushioning foam that helps smoothen the transition between impact and toe-off. Other details like its slightly angular outsole, 3M accents at the toe and branded tongue top off the retro-inspired sneaker.
The Nike Vomero 5 SE SP will be available on May 14 at 4 a.m. EST at Titolo for $198 USD in the colorways “Dark Grey,” “Electric Green” and “Racer Blue.”
