Nike Unveils Sleek Pair of Glow-In-The-Dark LeBron 16s
Inspired by the exclusive “Friends and Family” LeBron 3s from 2014.

Seen just last week, Nike unveiled its “Harlem Stage” iteration of the LeBron 16 doused in a bold yellow hue. Returning to the slate is another take on the sneaker that’s been completely darkened out in comparison to the previous colorway.
Five years ago, LeBron showed off an exclusive “Friends and Family” pair of LeBron 3s that glowed in the dark. Inspired by the unreleased pair, Nike has offered up another rendition of this concept, except now available to the public. Dubbed “Glow,” the latest design to grace the LeBron 16 is an all-black upper that sits above a glow-in-the-dark sole. At the top of the tongue is LeBron’s signature lion-head motif, while the back side of the ankle collar is made with a glossy finish. The upper body is comprised predominantly of breathable mesh that’s contrasted by its lower half made from leather. A black swoosh on the lateral side and LeBron insignia on its medials grace the sidewalls. Sitting below a muted midsole is the signature glow-in-the-dark outsole that defines the sneaker.
The Nike LeBron 16 “Glow” will be available on Nike’s online store on May 17 at 10 pm EST for $200 USD.
