'Game of Thrones' Actors Say Good-Bye to the Series via Instagram
To the end of an era.

The time has finally come. After seven epic seasons, (or not so epic regarding the show’s recent run), HBO‘s hit fantasy series Game of Thrones has come to its conclusion. For some actors who started with the show since it originally aired in 2011, 10 years have been spent growing and nurturing their characters throughout the decade.
“Sansa, Thank you for teaching me resilience, bravery and what true strength really is,” Sophie Turner wrote on her Instagram tribute post. “I grew up with you. I fell in love with you at 13 and now 10 years on … at 23 I leave you behind, but I will never leave behind what you’ve taught me.” On the other-hand, actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau bid farewell to his on-screen twin sister, “The best, sweetest most wonderful sister from another mother @iamlenaheadey. That was a fun decade.”
