Netflix Shares First Trailer for 'Black Mirror' Season 5
It’s finally here.
After months of waiting with very few details surfacing, Black Mirror season 5 is officially gearing up for its return next month.
Shared by Netflix only a few moments ago, the new two-minute trailer gives fans a glimpse of what’s to come in the critically-acclaimed anthology series. Buzzing cellphones, ominous shots and cryptic scenes are interjected with first looks of Anthony Mackie and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II‘s episode along with Miley Cyrus partaking in a futuristic dance in her rise to stardom; also visible is what looks to be a Mortal Kombat-themed battle.
Season 5 will include three all-new stories from the minds of Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones and will star Anthony Mackie, Miley Cyrus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Topher Grace, Damson Idris, Andrew Scott, Nicole Beharie, Pom Klementieff, Angourie Rice, Madison Davenport, and Ludi Lin.
All episodes of Black Mirror season 5 will land on Netflix June 5.
Many fans were expecting the return of Season 5 in 2018, however it was pushed back due to the complexity of the series’ standalone film Bandersnatch.
