adidas Launches NEMEZIZ 19 Installation Inspired by Messi, Firmino and Silva
Located in the heart of London.
After launching the highly-anticipated NEMEZIZ 19 boot earlier this month, adidas has set up a special installation in conjunction with ESPADAYSANTACRUZ.
Located in the heart of London, this artwork is dedicated to the world’s most creative and agile footballers. Inspired by Leo Messi, Roberto Firmino and Bernardo Silva, the installation takes on the form of each of the aforementioned’s unstoppable runs on the pitch made over the seasons. Using GCI and data collected, each of their movements have been turned into a physical manifestation of their agility in action using 1-to-1 scale “slices.” Finally the work has been wrapped in over 2km worth of NEMEZIZ agility bandage that also makes up the upper of the latest NEMEZIZ 19 boot.
Coming in at 12-meters long, the installation is currently on display in London. On the other-hand, the laceless NEMEZIZ 19 is available now at adidas Football retailers and online.
