Adam Sandler Returns to 'SNL' to Take on Hosting Duties
Reliving his glory days of the 90’s.
Former Saturday Night Live cast member Adam Sandler will be returning to his roots as he prepares to take on hosting duties for the comedy sketch show.
In the short one-minute promo shared today by NBC, Sandler finds himself strolling down memory lane as he walks down the photo-filled hallways of Studio 8H. Filled with imagery of his old characters from the show’s glory days in the ’90s, such as Cajun Man, the comedian then encounters personal photos of himself, which are also plastered on the wall. Sandler soon realizes a disturbing secret about returning to SNL, that once you return, you can never leave. Kenan Thompson also makes an appearance in the Twilight Zone-esque clip posted above.
Catch Adam Sandler’s return to SNL on Saturday, May 4 alongside musical guest Shawn Mendes. The following week will see Emma Thompson host on May 11 alongside the Jonas Brothers, followed by the big finale with Endgame star Paul Rudd and DJ Khaled.
Saturday Night Live airs at 11:30 p.m. EST.
