Stüssy Relaunches Osaka Minami Chapter Store With Exclusive Capsule
A one-off commemorative collection.
To kick off the renewal of its Osaka Minami outpost, Stüssy recently debuted a special capsule collection exclusive to the refreshed Japanese storefront. Hosted in a minimalist space, the shop has been elevated with blue collar-inspired accent pieces.
Clean lines inform the open space, which has been cleverly organized into nooks via spacious wooden and metal shelving. Cement blocks and wooden crates give the counter tops and benches a rugged aesthetic, gently clashing against the thin overhead lighting and sleek gunmetal grey walls. A plant centerpieces add an organic edge to the robust interior.
The capsule collection repurposes classic Stüssy iconography, utilizing dice graphics and familiar logos to hearken back to the brand’s heritage. Monochrome shades ensure versatile T-shirts, with a bright pink tee and leopard-printed short-sleeved shirt offering colorful contrast. “OSAKA CHAPTER 2019” branding underlines the specificity of the drop, even extending to a black twill bucket hat.
