The LVMH-nominated 3.PARADIS joins forces with street-adjacent Japanese imprint roar (also known as ROARGUNS) for a graphic-heavy capsule collection. Blending signature graphic elements of both brands together, the collaborative effort encompasses a variety of eye-catching layering pieces for Spring/Summer 2019.
Detail-oriented Japanese design often inspires 3.PARADIS designer Emeric Tchatchoua, providing both Eastern inspiration and plenty of doves in his label’s Fall/Winter 2019 lookbook to drive the message home. Meanwhile, roar has built its name upon premium wearable silhouettes and statement accents, like sweaters emblazoned with Swarovski-studded renderings of the brand’s logo: two crossed pistols.
In joining together, the partners deliver versatile gear black T-shirts and hoodies, distinguished by bold statement prints and rhinestones. Yellow sweatpants and orange hoodies sport co-branding and unified dove/pistol imagery, mathing some of the more adventurous pieces. These range from washed-out straight-leg jeans to a bifurcated military jacket/hoodie and layered trench coat, all rife with prints and external labels. Service caps sport “NO GUNS IN PARADIS” verbiage, reinforcing the collection’s title and underpinning the theme of militaria being repurposed in the name of peace.
