A Samurai Takes Revenge in 'Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice' Trailer
Coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Activision and FromSoftware released the launch trailer for its upcoming Action-Adventure slasher Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, which showcases the revenge storyline of our shinobi main protagonist Sekiro.
The game takes place in a reimaged Japan during the Sengoku era after the shinobi was left for dead with a severed arm following the kidnapping of his master. After he finds his arm replaced with a weaponized prosthetic arm by a mysterious busshi who dubs him Sekiro (The One-Armed Wolf,) he sets out to rescue his lord and get revenge.
The title will feature FromSoftware’s infamous difficulty, ala Dark Souls, and the visuals above showcases the title’s resurrection and combat systems. Instead of enemies having a health meter, players will have to combat foes with Sekiro katana and attack their poise for an opening to deliver a single killing blow. The game also features stealth elements, allowing gamers to instantly drop enemies if they can get in range undetected.
