Karhu Blends Finnish Footwear With Fishing Heritage in New "Catch of the Day" Pack

Karhu returns to its fishing heritage and the great outdoors with a five silhouette collection titled the “Catch of the Day” pack. Reworking the Fusion 2.o, Aria and Synchron, the capsule’s color scheme look to the sea and its rough surroundings for a mixture of earthy tones, saturated hues and fluorescent hits.
Each of the five sneakers features a combination of premium pigskin suede and breathable mesh colorblocked in the hues of fishing lures. All five see both big and small nods to fluorescent green fishing gear, paying homage to Karhu’s background in fishing supplies production some 40 years ago.
Standout pairs include the Aria in “Bright White/Beige/Ocean Depths” thanks to its neon highlights on the toe box, outsole, eyelets and interior, and the Fusion 2.0 with its colorblocked turquoise, white and neon palette.
Complete with fish-printed insoles, the collection is available at retailers such as Hanon, priced from £109 to £119 GBP (approx. $140 to $155 USD).
