Public School and Fun City Tattoo Shop Team on Limited-Edition Capsule
Plus exclusive tattoos to commemorate the launch.
Since teaming with New Era on an NBA cap collection in the fall, Public School has tapped a seemingly unconventional partner for its latest collaboration: Fun City Tattoo shop. The two New York-based entities come together this season on an exclusive, co-branded capsule of hoodies and long-sleeved T-shirts.
Both the tee and sweatshirt feature sketch-style graphics that were designed by Fun City owner Big Steve. A drawing of a rose is etched onto the sleeve of the shirt, which is offered in black and white versions. Logos that merge the names of each label — including a large apple and dagger depiction — are placed on the front and back of each item, underscoring the tattoo theme with a distinct calligraphic aesthetic. In addition to the apple, the hooded style is accentuated with other detailed pictures, including a flying eagle, a roaring tiger with stripes and enlarged “PS” lettering highlighted with stars.
Fun City has also created limited-edition tattoos to commemorate the launch, which fans can make appointments at funcitytattoo.com. The apparel items, priced at $85 USD for the tee and $185 USD for the sweatshirt, will be available starting Thursday, March 28 at PSNY’s SoHo, Manhattan shop.
