NEXUSVII Channels the Artwork of Émile Gallé in Latest G9 Jacket
“Antique specimens” drawn throughout.
NEXUSVII‘s latest outerwear offering pays homage to the late French artist Émile Gallé. Taking the classic British G9 jacket silhouette, NEXUSVII incorporates an assortment of delicate illustrations across the body of the jacket; the faint graphics are done in a hand-drawn style that is reminiscent to Émile Gallé’s work.
Plants, animals, and insects can be seen, as a rose covers the right side of the chest, a snake covers the left, while a peony, tulip, scorpion, tarantula, moth, and butterfly round off the illustrations. The GALLE G9 jacket is constructed out of cotton poplin military fabric and is made in Japan.
Those interested can find it over at NEXUSVII’s web store for a price of ¥42,120 JPY (approximately $380 USD) where it is available in the choice of olive green or beige.
