Taking the standard US military issue Danner TACHYON model down from eight inches to six, the lifestyle silhouette upgrades on its predecessors with the inclusion of DANNER DRY lining, a completely waterproof barrier that allows moisture from inside the foot to escape without letting water in.
The lightweight uppers are constructed from premium cow suede and a thick nylon-polyester mesh blend, kitted in an all-black ensemble with rope laces and eyelets keeping the tonal look. Sitting atop a robust contrast sole and fitted with tonal black, beige/black parachute cord and camouflage inspired three-tone parachute cord laces, the TACHYON 6” boot blends hobo’s Japanese sophistication with Danner’s iconic rugged approach.
Black, ballistic and bold, the boots are priced at JP¥25,000 (approx. $225 USD) and are available from hobo stockists and COVERCHORD on March 16.
