Inspired by 1950s US Army-issues flight jackets, Bell & Ross has released the BR03-92 MA-1 watch for Spring/Summer 2019. The matte khaki watch is a streamlined take on Bell & Ross’ purist pilot watch, with its aviation roots featured throughout the watch down to every last meticulous detail.

Featuring a matte khaki ceramic bezel, the BR03-92 MA-1 features a matching khaki face that is superimposed over an orange Super-Luminova dial, replicating the reversible lining of the MA-1 jacket used in SOS situations. The watch continues its homage to the bomber jacket with its reversible strap, seeing on one side the tonal khaki calfskin leather and on the other, bright orange.

The 42mm frame is inspired by aviation cockpits, delivering crystal clear numbers and branding against a dark background which is encased in a square slot, just like you’d find on old planes. With a sapphire crystal glass screen, the Bell & Ross BR03-92 MA-1 is the true Jekyll and Hyde of watches, delivering sleek sophistication and a luminous flair when the wearer wants it.

The limited-edition timepiece is available at Bell & Ross boutiques and online, priced at £2,990 GBP (approx. $3,920 USD).
