Shot by @inmidoutsole and worn by @randygalang, we now have an on-foot look at a new colorway of the upcoming adidas OZ adiprene. Unlike the “Triple Black” iteration, which is as understated as the name implies, this new variant sports colorful reflective accents.
This iteration of the OZ adiPRENE ditches the lightweight mesh and suede of the “Triple Black” for a hefty black grain leather, adding premium heft to the sleek sihlouette. Multi-colored gradients play on the trim, giving the shoe some soft contrast, which ties in with the most subtle detail. Reflective Xeno stitching looks black in normal lighting, but it gives the runner a little extra visual pop in low-light circumstances.
Otherwise, the sneaker maintains the low-key motif through a muted grey midsole and plastic tube that runs through the upper, complete with technical jargon printed on the rear portion by the heel. The shoe is completed by grey adidas branding on the tongue, which matches the subtle Three Stripes branding stitched onto the medial side.
According to @inmidoutsole and @randygalang, the new silhouette is rumored hit stores later this year, in either October or November 2019. Get even closer with the shoe via the shots below.
