Y-3 Transforms Sailing Inspiration Into GORE-TEX-Lined Layering Pieces
A duo of blacked-out weather-fighting gear.

Inspired in equal part by sailing, parachuting and Yohji Yamamoto‘s fascination with “air between the body,” the Japanese designer’s adidas-backed Y-3 has introduced a duo of GORE-TEX-lined outerwear pieces. The shorter Utility Hoodie Jacket boasts deep chest pockets, adjustable waist fasteners and velcro straps at the wrists, for a completely customizable fit. Meanwhile, the Long Coat boasts an extended, billowing shape with multiple methods of closure, matching the Utility Hoodie Jacket in terms of lightness and weather resistance.

Most recently, Yamamoto tapped adidas for bespoke Pour Homme “Mid-Belt” sneakers.
