Vans Updates the Era With ComfyCush Sole Technology
Full-length comfort updates the 1976 classic.

Vans has equipped its Era silhouette with its latest technology, the ComfyCush sole unit, adding a new depth of comfort, arch support and grip to a classic fan-favourite.
Dropping in five colorways, from “Dress Blues/Aspen Gold,” “Black/Marshmallow,” and a Summertime standout “Strawberry Pink/Zinnia/True White” pair, to two classic black Vans iterations, the ComfyCush Era maintains its heritage shape, design and waffle sole while providing c’loud-like comfort.”
Nathanial Iott, Senior Director of Footwear Design at Vans, explained that “with comfort as the goal, the ComfyCush Era employs a one-piece constructed interior including tongue tie-downs for improved fit and feel, added arch support and a co-molded construction of foam and rubber to create the perfect combination of cushion and grip for lasting comfort.”
Vans have put its user first for the ComfyCush Era revamp, recognising the classic designs fanfare while having a need for increased comfort and versatility, and offer this with its new lineup of skating staples. Priced between $60 and $65 USD, the ComfyCush Era collection is available now on Vans.com.
