Adam Silver Awkwardly Introduces NBA's New Smart Jerseys
During All-Star Weekend.

NBA All-Star Weekend festivities have kicked off already in Charlotte, North Carolina seeing the celebrity All-Star Game being played and a slew of new basketball gear being introduced.
One of the standout unveilings, along with an up close look at Nike’s Adapt BB, was the “smart jersey of the future,” which was awkwardly debuted by NBA commissioner Adam Silver during the All-Star Technology Summit.
In the one-minute clip below, Silver introduces the new smart jerseys, which are able to change player name and number, to the crowd. With a simple app, Silver turned the #30 Stephen Curry jersey into Michael Jordan’s signature 23 top. This fully customizable fan experience is aiming to be implemented NBA jerseys come 2038.
