Following news of HEAD PORTER‘s plans to cease operations this year, the reputable Japanese label properly bids adieu by unveiling its last collection with a robust lookbook for the Spring/Summer 2019 season. As an offshoot of PORTER by Yoshida Kaban, the carry experts will resurrect under new name in September 2019. The company released the following statement in conjunction with its latest visuals:

This collection will be HEAD PORTER’s final collection. We sincerely thank you for your support throughout our history. Endings also represent new beginnings. We will be launching a new brand under a new concept. And we look forward moving forward with you on our new journey.

Thank you and see you soon again.

Going back to the basics, the images showcase classic waist bags, daypacks, totes and pouches in bold red and blue colors, as well as denim gear and HEAD PORTER’s familiar black, navy and grey hues. The Henderson line exhibits luxurious cow leather materialized into 2-way tote bags and wallets, while the Ortega, Scene and Halo bag sets utilize ripstop cotton with PVC coating, durable nylon and Cordura polyester fabrics, respectively. The Libre line takes cues from ’70s sport styles with color-blocked designs, as the Knott’s reinterprets traditional workwear with a spin on hickory stripes. Other lines including its DOT series crafted with high-density nylon in an eye-catching patter are also included in the final collection.

Clothing from the HEAD PORTER PLUS line also includes a bevy of staples including functional jackets, colorful sweatshirts, collared button-ups, cut and sew tees and chino pants. Scroll through the lookbook above and shop the items at HEAD PORTER online and in-stores available now.
