Downtown LA sneaker shop Blends, now notorious for its bone jazz-stripe reinterpretation of the classic Vans design, has once again collaborated with the skate brand for a Vans Vault Old Skool Comfycush LX.
Utilizing Vans’ latest Comfycush technology – a lightweight cupsole featuring foam cushioning for added foot support – Blends have given the iconic silhouette a clean overhaul, this time in hairy suede and premium leather. The all-suede, monochrome uppers are accented by tonal leather bone jazz-stripes, premium flat laces and a full-leather internal construction.
The two West-Coast icons also released promotional videos in honour of each pair, which you can see below. The Blends x Vans Vault Old Skool COMFYCUSH LX will be available at all Blends locations and online on the Blends web store.
