The streamlined update features a sock-like construction, in contrast to the silhouette’s signature chunkiness. With reduced collar padding, a simplified sole unit and a modern design throughout, the 5.1 stands as a homage to the classic for those looking for something more low-profile.
A mixture of leather and synthetic overlays paired with 3M accents and an exposed red GEL unit stays true to the OG, whereas the mesh-knit across the side and along the tongue and vamp provides the Kayano 5.1 with a clean construction.
