Vetements Announces 44-Piece Star Wars Collaboration
Launching alongside ‘Rise of the Skywalker.’
Ahead of the release of Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker this month, Vetements has announced an extensive collaboration with the franchise. The Vetements x Star Wars collection is set to feature 44 pieces, covering both menswear and womenswear and spanning everything from limited-edition logo T-shirts oversized hoodies, socks, caps and backpacks to evening dresses and high heels.
Vetements is currently keeping details and imagery of the collection under wraps, although the Switzerland-based label did describe it as being “inspired by the most iconic Vetements pieces and the Star Wars legacy.” The collection will be formally unveiled on December 12, when Moscow-based Tsum will launch the first pieces with a party and selling event.
Following that, the full collection will release on December 16 at stockists including SSENSE, which has the online exclusive, as well as in-store at Harrods and Flannels in the UK, The Webster in the US and other select retailers around the world.
