Stan Smith Teams up with Maurice de Mauriac for His Own Signature Watch
Limited to only 100 pieces.

Cult icon Stan Smith has now moved beyond the realm of sneakers and into the world of watches. In celebration of his 100 wins on the tennis court, Swiss watchmaker Maurice de Mauriac has linked up with the tennis legend to create his very own signature timepiece, boasting a design perfectly complementary of his eponymous adidas Originals tennis shoe.
Based on the brand’s Deepsky range, the watch is composed of a 42mm stainless steel case housing a clean white dial with an inner track surrounded by circular hour markers on the outer rim. Paying homage to Smith’s tennis heritage and the design sensibilities of his signature sneaker are various lawn-green accents coming in the form of the seconds hand, his autograph sitting above the six o’clock position, and a striped NATO strap. Inside, the watch is powered by an ETA 2824-2 automatic movement — holding a power reserve of 38 hours — which can be admired through a windowed caseback. The watch is also water-resistant up to 100 meters.
Limited to just 100 units, with a blue and red colorway arriving soon, the Maurice de Mauriac Stan Smith signature watch is now available for preorder over at the watchmaker’s online store, retailing for CHF 2,390, or roughly $2,414 USD.
For more things watches, Victorinox is releasing a new INOX watch made from a space-tested carbon composite.
