In mid-October the sneaker world got their first look at adidas Originals‘ forthcoming Pharrell Williams 4D runner. Now the Three Stripes has finally officially introduced the soon-to-be-coveted collaborative model.
Known for his numerous sought-after adidas collaborations, multi-hyphenate Pharrell Williams has now turned his sights to the Three Stripes’ 4D Runner. The brand-new Pharrell Williams 4D Runner boasts the same famous Primeknit upper of the UltraBOOST — dressed in either “Active Purple” or “Tech Olive” as shown above — which sits atop adidas‘ futuristic 4D-printed lattice midsole. For both color options mentioned, the midsole will remain its native pale green tone, as the process of dyeing 4D is complicated. Finally a “Hu” branded tag dresses the ankle collar, in addition to the Three Stripes branding emblazoned on the sides.
The adidas 4D Runner first debuted earlier this year as a special Consortium release. Interested readers will be able to purchase the adidas Originals Pharrell Williams 4D Runner starting this Friday, December 20 at select European adidas retailers and adidas’ online store for a retail price of $400 USD. A US release date is scheduled for January 11.
For more collaborative sneakers, Ronnie Fieg and KITH’s rainbow-tinged adidas TERREX Free Hiker gets a release date.
