(A)NOWHEREMAN Tackles Climate Change in GORE-TEX-Indebted "Grey Wall" Collection
Inspired by U.S. military uniforms.

Eco-conscious Taiwanese label (A)NOWHEREMAN has teamed up with the outdoor clothing company Hilltop for a GORE-TEX-heavy Fall/Winter 2019 collection.
(A)NOWHEREMAN’s “Grey Wall” collection takes its name from the growing issues surrounding pollution in modern cities, citing the idea of a grey atmosphere. In response to this, the collection brings a utilitarian aesthetic comprised of U.S. military-inspired jackets, tactical vests, a pilot suit, a half-cut hooded gilet, a parka, a quilted jacket, and a long-sleeve roll neck, each of which is made from eco-friendly fabrics.
U.S. military uniforms are used as the collection’s blueprint and are then, in the case of the parka, adapted with Hilltop’s 3D Thermobrid down technology to develop outerwear that’s functional in both cold and humid climates. GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER fabric is used throughout the collection, creating pieces that are weather-resistant, breathable and warm. Rounding off the collection’s utilitarian approach is its use of heavy-duty German-patented magnetic Fidlock fasteners.
