Burna Boy Delivers Catchy New Single "Money Play"
A special “SANTABURNA” delivery.
After joining Stormzy and Ed Sheeran for the latter’s “Own It” single and visual last month, Burna Boy has shared new music with his fans as a special “SANTABURNA” holiday treat, as described by the Nigerian singer in an Instagram post. Titled “Money Play,” the track is a catchy follow-up to Burna’s latest album, African Giant, offering lively dancehall vibes and his usual Afrofusion style.
The three-minute record comes just ahead of the artist’s upcoming performance in Accra, Ghana, where he will appear alongside Ghanaian rapper M.anifest and more on Christmas day. It’s a seamless transition from the July-released African Giant, which has since garnered Burna Boy his first Grammy nomination for the best world music album category. Outside of the new song, meanwhile, the singer dropped off a reflective video for his track “Another Story” in September.
