adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 "Carbon Blue" Receives Official Look and Release Date
Debuting globally on December 18.
Kanye West‘s adidas YEEZY line is aiming to finish 2019 with a bang, and one of the releases that’s aiding in that effort is the YEEZY BOOST 700 “Carbon Blue.” Speculated and leaked for months before being officially revealed, the “Carbon Blue” presents a look that’s decidedly in line with West and adidas‘s natural color palettes. However, the makeup is much more than meets the eye at first glance.
Careful inspection reveals that the “Carbon Blue” is in fact a tasteful combination of accents and hues from a trio of previous YEEZY BOOST 700 releases, all contrasted with new blue details. The classic Wave Runner lends its grey mesh midfoot panel and supple leather overlays, while shades of blue and grey are contracted from the “Teal Blue.” The beefy midsole borrows its grey base tone and pops of orange from the “Inertia,” encircling a full-length BOOST footbed. The look is finalized by a classic gum outsole.
The adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 “Carbon Blue” will release worldwide on December 18 at adidas.com/yeezy and select stockists. The MSRP is set at a standard $300 USD.
In other YEEZY-centric news, the YEEZY BOOST 380 “Alien” is set for a global release later this month, and images of a new YEEZY BOOST 350 v2 “Tailgate” were recently revealed as well.
