adidas Originals has unveiled two clean new colorways of its recently-released Torsion TRDC silhouette. The sneaker has previously been subjected to Consortium makeovers, with the original arriving in a blend of white, blue, neon green and black, and other pair being treated to a Norse Projects overhaul.
This time around, adidas Originals keeps things simple with its tonal colorways of “CRYWHT” and “GRYSIX.” They both feature alternating shades, with darker and lighter hues hitting the various overlapping panels found among the reimagined ’90s Trediac sneaker. Its sole unit is accented in a contrasting shade to the upper and is packed with Torsion technology providing superior levels of comfort and support — making it arguably one of the Three Stripes’ most comfortable sneakers of late.
Elsewhere you’ll find adiPRENE in the heel components and EVA in the midsole, which come together to further enhance the Torsio TRDC’s comfort. Up top, a mix of mesh, suede and synthetic materials used for the Three Stripes and on the heel and toe box’s detailing combine for a strong ’90s trail sneaker theme.
In other news, adidas and Kanye West have unveiled the upcoming YEEZY Slide.
