Selfridges Recruits Nabil Elderkin, Kim Jones, Daniel Arsham & More for Christmas Film
Telling the story of a ‘Future Fantasy’ party.
Following on from its Daniel Arsham installation, London retailer Selfridges has worked with the artist for its star-studded Future Fantasy Christmas short film. Arsham is one of a number of high-profile appearances in the film, which has been directed by Kanye West, Frank Ocean and Travis Scott collaborator Nabil Elderkin.
The setting for the film is Arsham’s “The House” installation, which has been moved to the derelict Old Selfridges Hotel. The short film features a voice over from Little Simz, and focuses around a futuristic house party hosted by Miguel and Noomi Rapace. Alongside Arsham, some of the party guests include Kim Jones, Jefferson Hack and 032c’s Maria Koch.
You can watch Future Fantasy above, and a director’s cut of the short film will be shown at the Selfridges Cinema beginning on November 22.
