British fashion house Paul Smith has linked up once again with German camera maker Leica for a second collaboration, electing the modern Leica CL as their canvas.

While the technical specs of the camera remain unchanged — a 24-megapixel sensor, 4K video recording capabilities, and a standard Elmarit-TL 18mm f/2.8 ASPH lens — its aesthetic design is very much Paul Smith. Painting the top panel of the camera in bright blue, the fashion brand included a playful etching of an eye atop the viewfinder. Near the bottom beneath the classic black leather body wrapping are three muted colored stripes — a classic pattern from the British designer. As a final touch, written on the back of the camera is the phrase “look and see,” a tribute to Smith’s famous quote: “many people look, but often they don’t see.”

For those interested, the Leica CL “Edition Paul Smith” — limited to 900 units — is now available over on Paul Smith’s website, retailing for $3,995 USD.

Elsewhere in the world of Leicas, the brand has also released a limited edition M Monochrom in tribute to 150 years of Ernst Leitz.
