FUTUR and Mizuno Reunite for Collaborative Wave Prophecy Sneakers and Apparel

Parisian clothing label FUTUR rejoins Mizuno for another round of collaborative running gear and sneakers. This time, the French brand has opted to remix the Wave Prophecy 8, ensuring that the shoe and its accompanying apparel are ideal for runners combatting the inclement weather.
The “Wave Prophecy FUTUR” sneakers are an exclusive offering made just for the collaborative release, with special detailing throughout that underlines the bespoke designs. Reflective 3M and iridescent accents appear on the midfoot, heel and laces, lending both the white and black colorways an extra hi-vis touch. Shiny detailing on the outsole creates another pop when light is shone on it, complementing the bold hues that inform the co-branding taping that runs down the vamp, ending at the bold-face FUTUR branding on the toebox. A more subtle touch comes by way of the 2019 verbiage at the heel, reflecting FUTUR’s 5th anniversary.
Meanwhile, a complete array of runner essentials bolster the drop’s all-conditions motif. Key to the range are two black jackets, offered in mens’ and womens’ sizes. Both waterproof and breathable, the layering piece sports reflective co-branding across its shell, with high-performance zipper closure to entirely seal out moisture. co-branding Black and white Mizuno hats accompany red and yellow options printed with FUTUR’s signature outline graphic, all offering reflective properties. A balaclava and gloves round out the collection, blending maximum warmth with optimum breathability.
