Dave East Unveils Star-Studded Tracklist for Debut Studio Album
‘Survival’ will feature appearances from Nas, DJ Premier, Fabolous, Rick Ross, and more.

Dave East has revealed the official tracklist of his forthcoming debut studio album Survival, out November 8 via Def Jam Recordings/Mass Appeal Records.
The East Harlem rapper’s album will features 19 tracks in total, with one bonus track set to be included. He’s tapped a number of hip-hop’s finest for the record, including Nas on the single “Godfather 4,” DJ Premier for “They Wanna Kill You,” Mozzy and E-40 for “Devil Eyes,” Teyana Taylor for “Need a Sign,” Lil Baby for “Night Shift,” Rick Ross and The-Dream for “OG” and Fabolous for “What’s Going On.”
Recently East sat down with Revolt to discuss the inspiration behind the project: “I was listening to Snoop Dogg’s first album, Doggystyle. I was listening to Cam’ron’s first album, Confessions of Fire. I listened to 50 Cent’s first album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’. I was listening to everybody sh*t…I studied what energy these had when they came out the gate to the world.”
The album was initially announced in 2018 after the release of Beloved, his collaborative album with Styles P, making Survival East’s first solo project since the Karma 2 mixtape from last year. On top of his music, 2019 has seen him becoming Method Man in Hulu‘s biographical portrayal of Wu-Tang Clan in its Wu-Tang: An American Saga miniseries as well as making an appearance in Netflix‘s Beats.
