Balenciaga Applies Laces to Its Speed Lace up Trainers
Coming in a striking “Red/Black” colorway.
After delivering a “Graffiti” branding rework, Balenciaga has turned its focus back on its Speed Trainers once again. This time around, the French luxury label has added laces to a “Red/Black” take on the bootie style footwear model.
The mid-top stretch knit upper has been done in bright red simply marked with “BALENCIAGA” at the forefoot in contrasting white. The traditional lacing system has been weaved through tonal grosgrain eyelets woven through the upper for a seamless design. Rounding up the design is a rib-knit collar and treaded black rubber sole unit complete with Memory Sole technology and embossed logo at the heel.
