Balenciaga Joins Forces With World Food Programme for Second Capsule Collection
The fashion house’s fight to end hunger continues.

Balenciaga has once again teamed up with the World Food Programme, following a collaborative capsule collection that was first seen on the runway and was later released in September 2018. This year’s collaboration will continue the breadth of co-branded products that was available the first time around and is slated to include socks, hats, scarves, pants raincoats, T-shirts, hoodies, bags and more.
The collaboration’s previous success helped spread awareness of World Food Programme’s greater mission to end hunger and malnutrition by 2030 in communities across the globe. Balenciaga packaged information about the World Food Programme with purchased items from the collection, and it donated a portion of each sale to the organization. This year, Balenciaga has announced it will double the amount of proceeds given to World Food Programme to 20 percent.
The upcoming World Food Programme x Balenciaga collection will see a worldwide retail store and online release beginning in December 2019.
