Anderson .Paak's Band The Free Nationals Enlist Chronixx for "Eternal Light"
The latest release from Anderson .Paak’s backing band.
Towards the end of last month, Anderson .Paak’s backing band The Free Nationals teamed up with J.I.D., Kadhja Bonet and MIKNNA for a new single titled “On Sight.” Now, following up that release, the talented group of musicians are linking up with Chronixx for another new single, “Eternal Light.” With the addition of Chronixx’s reggae-rooted talents, The Free Nationals are expressing a different sound and style on their latest track, resulting in a song that wouldn’t feel out of place on their “Eternal Light” collaborator’s next project.
“My music come from early beginnings, from childhood days,” Chronixx previously explained to Okayplayer. “I used to sing at school, in church, and then my whole family sings. My daddy, Chronicle, caused me to be very exposed to music from a very tender age. That’s where the music started for me. Professionally now, that’s when I was in high school. I started producing. Making riddims. But the music go from then until now. When I was 15, 16 I started producing and it was a great vibe for me.”
