BYBORRE's Layered Edition™ to Launch at Dover Street Market Ginza Along With Exclusive Capsule
Featuring unique sweaters, scarves and long sleeves.
Earlier this year, BYBORRE revealed its Fall/Winter 2019 Layered Edition™ in collaboration with GORE-TEX and The Woolmark Company. For the brand’s upcoming launch at Dover Street Market Ginza, BYBORRE is creating an installation inspired by its design and engineering process, along with a capsule collection exclusive to DSM Ginza.
The installation will highlight the in-house circular knitting machines used to create the brand’s garments, showcasing the entire design process behind the multi-layered fabrics. For the launch, BYBORRE is partnering with The Woolmark Company once again for a unique version of the Layered Edition™’s Weightmap Sweater. The sweater’s original cotton 3D™ construction is replaced with a soft Merino wool 3D™ fabric in an exclusive colorway.
A series of colorful scarves knit in-house are also featured in the capsule — every scarf is different due to the gradient of the knit on the front side. Black and white long-sleeve shirts informed by archival BYBORRE 8-bit™ fabric pieces on the backs are included as well.
