'Death Stranding' Final Trailer: 8-Minutes of a Post-Apocalyptic Earth
The final trailer gives us our best look at the game’s story.
The launch trailer for Hideo Kojima‘s Death Stranding has finally surfaced, indicating that the hotly anticipated game is finally approaching its release date. The trailer above features stars Norman Reedus, Guillermo del Toro, Mads Mikkelsen, Lea Seydoux and more dealing with the trauma of living in a post-apocalyptic earth. According to the game’s synopsis, “in the near future, mysterious explosions have rocked the planet, setting off a series of supernatural events known as the Death Stranding.”
As a result, humanity has been shaken to its core and the planet is on the verge of mass extinction, with Reedus’ Sam Bridges being the only one able to save mankind. He must begin rebuilding America and the entire world by connecting people by bringing advanced isolated terminals installed along the West Coast online.
Death Stranding arrives for PlayStation 4 on November 8.
In related news, Conan O’Brien visited Hideo Kojima’s office and got put into Death Stranding.
