Maison Kitsuné made its official Paris Fashion Week debut this past weekend with newly appointed design director Yuni Ahn, formally of Celine, for its Fall/Winter 2019 collection.

Playing heavily on standout outerwear options, the French label’s latest seasonal offerings is an homage to music, more specifically ’90s house. Utilizing tones of browns, black and greys, the mostly monotoned looks have managed to infuse Maison Kitsuné’s heritage with Ahn’s new direction. Both streetwear and workwear influences are also present throughout the pieces, while a collaborative sneaker done in conjunction with Brandblack is also included. Highlights of the seasonal range includes the preppy plaid items along with the shiny black trenchcoat and Prince of Wales down jackets. Though the brand’s fox label is almost non-existent in this collection, instead it appears as a “Kool Fox” motif.
