Kevin Gates Tackles Prison, Yung Mazi's Death & More on 'Right Game Wrong N***a'
“I been played, been betrayed it take a toll on you.”
Kevin Gates continues prove he’s one of his craft’s most consistent stars. Directly following the recent release of “Therapy Shit 4,” Kevin Gates digs deep for another hard-hitting, introspective single titled “Right Game Wrong N***a.” Using his tightly-wound, melodic flows, the Baton Rouge star opens up about his time in prison, the death of Yung Mazi, his past in the streets and more.
“In the cell talking to myself I used to look out the window / Growing hair all over my head a lot of things I envisioned / I ain’t see Mazi leaving me before I got out of prison,” Kevin Gates raps. “I ain’t see me doing time after I finished a sentence / Loud thunder help me sleep / I hear the rain when it trickle / Dying on the inside unforgettable feeling / Crying on the inside think about how you living.”
