A couple weeks after the debut of the “Love on Ice” video, Key! reconnects with Kenny Beats to serve up another new vignette. This time around, the two artists link up with director William Child (Rolling Loud, Open Mike Eagle) to produce a claymation visual for their 777 record “Dig It.”

“I initially spoke to Mister and Tabari after sending them my portfolio,” William Child — who previously created a similar production for Da$h — tells Juxtapoz, explaining how today’s clip for “Dig It” came to fruition. “We discussed video concepts for other artists they work with, but I was already a fan of Key!, so when the guys from Erise sent me ‘Dig It’ from 777, it was immediately clear that I could make a great video for this song … The stop motion and claymation stuff is still relatively new to me in the grand scheme of things … but since finding out how much I loved the medium I have been pretty much constantly working on claymation projects.”
