Junya Watanabe Drops Functional Checked Wool Vest
Facing this seasons military-trend head on.

Famous for its unique utilization of military-styled garments, Japanese imprint Junya Watanabe has returned with a navy grosgrain-trimmed checked wool vest. The unique piece was made in collaboration with Ark Air, the UK-based brand of Arktis; a company that has been designing military gear since 1985.
The vest dons plenty of pockets and loops for all your tactical carrying needs, with the navy checked wool being paired with a vibrant camouflage lining. The varying flap pockets and adjustable shoulder straps utilize Velcro fastening mechanisms, while three more pockets line the internal areas. Other details include metal eyelets, side adjusters, and a black heavy-duty zipper to match the fabric’s dark color.
Check out the distinctive statement piece above, and if you’d like to purchase the made-in-Japan vest, it is currently retailing for $1,275 USD via MR PORTER’s web store.
