Nike Reworks the Air Max 98 In a Charlotte Hornets-Inspired Colorway
Commemorating the upcoming NBA All-Star Game.

Ahead of the NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte, NC, Nike has put together an Air Max 98 that remains rooted in the city’s team colors — spicing up the renown silhouette in a Charlotte Hornets-inspired colorway.
This new rendition zeroes in on the upcoming game, toting a “Court Purple/Terra Blush-Spirit Teal” makeover that’s paired with brown court-colored piping and detailing. If the NBA-themed colorway wasn’t obvious enough, Nike has also incorporated basketball leather on the toe section of the shoe. You can expect these sneakers to retail for $160 USD via Nike’s web store and retailers next month, in time for the upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend.
For more footwear news, Kendrick Lamar is rumored to be collaborating with Nike on a new sneaker.
